Clint Bandy
Founder / Chief Operations Officer
I grew up in a small town in the middle of nowhere Texas, spending almost all of my time as a child outside and on adventures. My favorite was going with friends to the lake on their boats. I remember being on the open water and feeling like it was an ocean of endless waves. There was a sense of freedom every time we set sail, where my imagination could run wild with all of the possibilities in such a big world… It’s hard to think about the trajectory of my life without those experiences, and I wouldn’t trade them for anything.

CharDonnai Gooch
Program Coordinator
Originally from Nashville, TN, CharDonnai holds a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Studies from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). During her time at MTSU, CharDonnai had the opportunity to intern with daycare centers and CASA of Rutherford County, gaining hands-on experience working with youth who have experienced trauma. These internships provided valuable lessons in building trusting relationships with youth and offering support for their healing and growth.
After completing her degree, CharDonnai pursued a career as a Social Worker with the state of Tennessee, where she deepened her understanding of the challenges facing both families and youth in the community. However, CharDonnai soon realized her true passion was to be a proactive force in transforming the lives of young people by serving as a mentor and role model. She believes that youth can rise above their circumstances and is committed to showing them that there are better opportunities beyond their current environment.
Currently, CharDonnai serves as the Program Coordinator for Water Walkers, where she has been for over a year. In this role, CharDonnai oversees and coordinates all program activities, striving to foster growth and academic success in the youth served. She has built strong relationships with local Nashville public schools, financial institutions, and families, helping to create a supportive network for the youth in the program.
In addition to her work at Water Walkers, CharDonnai has also served in Church Ministries for over three years, taking on leadership roles that have emphasized the importance of leading with empathy and integrity. Her work at Water Walkers is a natural extension of a lifelong passion for working with kids, and CharDonnai is grateful for the opportunity to support them through education, outdoor adventures, leadership, and wellness.
